Chow Hound Donates Over $1,500 to Pound Buddies
Chow Hound was proud to present a check for $1596 to Pound Buddies, generated during our Spring Round-Up. Our generous lake shore customers drove the whole effort, we’re so lucky to have the best customers in the world. Chow Hound supports community charitable pet organizations.

Pound Buddies are Muskegon County’s largest animal shelter serving the needs of homeless animals and pet-loving people since 2002.
At Pound Buddies the core purpose is to care for homeless dogs and cats and find them new loving families. Their mission is to be a guiding force to ensure the well-being of every dog and cat in Muskegon County.
- Provide shelter for homeless, abused or neglected dogs. To report a case of animal neglect or abuse, please call (231) 724-6007 or 911.
- Facilitate the adoption of homeless dogs into loving new homes.
- Increase community awareness of pet overpopulation and encourage owners to spay/neuter pets to decrease the number of adoptable dogs and cats euthanized simply because there aren’t enough homes for them.
- Provide temporary shelter for lost or stray dogs who are picked up or brought in by law enforcement or concerned citizens. If you are looking for a lost dog, see how Pound Buddies can help you re-connect with your lost friend.
